Hello! My name is Francesca Romana Panzironi and I would be delighted to be your
personal shopping guide in Rome. I am a licensed guide, I am passionate about art and naturally I am in love with Rome, this beautiful city of enchanting streets and little squares, dotted with tiny shops and workshops of the kind that is rare to find these days in richer and more organized countries, where retail chains and franchises have left little space for imagination and individuality. Shopping or just window-shopping with someone who knows the city well, including its history, legends, its hidden corners and its art, is the best and most enjoyable way to get a flavour of Rome's character, with its alleyways, squares, restaurants, markets, historic cafes, and, above all, the shops the Romans themselves shop in. As a Roman, I will help you to discover the places known only to Romans, I will take you on a shopping tour that you, as a tourist unfamiliar with the city, would not easily find on your own. As your shopping guide, I will show you the best Rome has to offer, not only the usual tourist attractions, but also all the other places of interest missed by mass tourism: fashion boutiques, antique and artisan shops, traditional Italian food and wine, leather goods, catholic and jewellery shops, the best restaurants and wine-bars of the city. I will also show you old markets ideal for antiques, second-hand goods, bargains, gift and more. I will help you to save time and money, offering you friendly, tailored and professional advice.
Even if your budget is limited, I will be able to help you in your shopping and find "a piece of Italian culture" to take home with you: I know shops that offer excellent made in Italy clothings and accessories at reasonable prices. And if you are a little bit oversized, or not longer very young, don't worry: I know how to find what you are looking for!
